Manzoor Khan loses a bid

A condominium tower on Kipling Avenue in North Etobicoke was unhappy with their property management company due to sloppy bookkeeping so the board searched for a replacement. They went to the nearby condo corporations and asked their property management companies to summit bids.

They all did so.

Channel Property Management was managing one of these nearby condos so Manzoor Khan arrived to make a sales presentation.

Manzoor was dressed in a flowery shirt with a couple of undone top buttons. He was wearing an expensive watch and jewelry. He oozed of confidence and bragged about his professional qualifications and the great work he was doing at the other condominiums that he managed.

Most of the directors were very impressed with Manzoor, especially his extensive qualifications and they wanted to hire Channel.

However, the president balked. She said that Khan appeared to be a shyster and that there was no way she wanted anything to do with him. When the other directors disagreed, she threatened to resign if they hired Channel.

That was one very lucky corporation as their neighbouring condo corporation became one of Khan's fraudulent loan by-law victims
