Our Human Rights Tribunal case
go fund me
In December of 2015 we filed a complaint with the Human Rights Tribunal
of British Columbia based on racial discrimination. The case has now
been accepted.
The respondents hired a lawyer and under the circumstances so did we.
We engaged a law firm and are now looking to raise funds to support our
legal case. The case is ongoing and our first official settlement
hearing is on July 7th.
This ordeal has ruined a once great neigbourhood and being able to live
together respectfully in a multicultural environment is important to
us. We want to get back to a place in time where we can all do that. It
is important that Canada's official languages remain an important part
of doing business be it within a strata corporation or a global
Canadian company.
Our group of six owners here at Wellington Court really appreciates
everyones contributions no matter how small they are. It will have a
big impact on our case and the ability to fight racial discrimination.
We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
