Hercules arrives in town
“But
Hercules himself must yield to odds,
And many strokes,
though with a little axe,
Hews down and
fells the hardest-timbered oak.”
—William Shakespeare
The appointment of an administrator may give the owners the
hope that a
superhero, a man excellently equipped to overcome all obstacles, big
and small, that may get in his way and when he leaves, all will be well
and there will remain no dilemmas or troubles.

A
court-appointed administrator (not exactly as illustrated.)
Yet, a community so divided and having so many problems may have
brought Hercules himself to his knees.
It could well be impossible to tell what most owners thought of the
administrator’s arrival but we do know what they thought of his
departure.
