Sep 2011
The Toronto Star breaks the story of six or more condos that are alleged to have been victimized by Manzoor Khan for over $20,000,000.
Oct 2011
ACMO finally removes Channel Property Management from its posted list of ACMO 2000 certified companies.

I am troubled that Manzoor Khan could  continue to operate his property management company, as if everything was normal, after being uncovered as a fraud artist and a forger.

Did Jim Bezemer report Khan's activities to ACMO? If he did, why didn't ACMO suspend Channel's ACMO 2000 certification pending the outcome of the lawsuit?

Did the corporation's law firm inform their other condo clients that they may be in financial danger by having Channel Property Management working for them in a position of trust? Was there something that prevented them from doing that? Is it considered unethical for a lawyer to inform people that a court action has been initiated for fraud against a company they have working for them?

Is it possible that the corporation's lawyers and Khan's property managers continued to work together during AGMs and at other meetings? Wouldn't that have been a little awkward?

One lonely voice
One of the concerned owners was friendly with the clerk-administrator that worked for Channel at 236 Albion Road.

One day, the clerk-administrator was in the office with the board members and Khan's property manager. When she came out out the office, she told the owner that she could not stay here as she could not do what they are doing to the owners. She won't give the owner any details.

A couple weeks later, she gave Channel her resignation.

Ethics and good citizenship has have different standards in the business world than they do in society in general.
