Challenging an entrenched board, especially one that is autocratic, corrupt or comprised of manager's stooges can be a difficult, frustrating and thankless enterprise.

It is a task worthy of Hercules and is not something that should be undertaken lightly. You will be fighting the board, the manager, the corporation's lawyer and perhaps the superintendent, the security guards and the cleaning staff.

Don't assume that you will have the majority of the owners on your side as this is a very common mistake. Fighting apathy will be your biggest challenge.

Anyway, if you are going to battle the board, here are my guidelines on how to go about it.
