There are about 11,600 condominium corporations in Ontario and although
they all fall under the guidelines of the Condominium Act, they are
independent non-profit corporations, run by a handful of
volunteer directors with different abilities, motivations,
qualifications and skills.
All of these condos are governed with extremely little oversight and
with wild variations of effectiveness and competence.
