The Condominium Register
Bill 106 introduces The Condominium Register a data collecting office
that will receive initial information from all newly registered condo
corporations, information at the turn-over from the developer to the
first elected board and annual returns after that.
The returns will contain the director's names and whatever other information the registrar (or regulations) will require.
This information will be available to the public most likely through the Internet.
The Condominium Register will also collect the new fees from the all the province's condo corporations.
Providing the data and collecting the fees as part of the monthly
common element fees will add more administration costs to the condo
corporations.
