The building takes shape
“If a building looks better under
construction than it does when finished, then it's a failure.”
—Doug Coupland
Once the foundation is built, the work goes quickly.
The staircases, windows and the outside brink veneer have been
installed.
The little white pads outside the windows are for the installation of
air conditioners.
The bamboo scaffolding surrounding the building is covered with green
protective coverings to prevent debris from falling onto pedestrians.
The pink coloured condominium is the "Volksgarden" a fairly new
condominium community. It got its name from the nearby FAW factories
that assemble Volkswagen automobiles.
